Kilkenny Live has been informed of a tree down in the Templepatrick area of Clara.
Crews are understood to be en route to the scene to clear the route.
Further fallen trees as well as loose debris and wires are expected in parts of County Kilkenny as the evening progresses with inclement weather hitting most parts of the country.

OVERVIEW - Met Éireann has issued weather warnings to a number of counties as very strong winds and torrential rain hit.
Counties Cork, Kerry, Wexford, and Waterford were issued Yellow Warnings on Tuesday and now Galway and Mayo have been added as localised flooding could be a possibility in some areas.
The warnings are in place from until approximately 8pm this evening (Thursday).
