Part of the Nore Valley Walk
Some of Kilkenny’s most beautiful, rural walks are to be featured on RTE’s Tracks and Trails TV show.
The Nore Valley Walk, from the city to Bennettsbridge, will be the first of two walks in the county to be seen when the programme airs, on RTE on Friday, May 3, at 7.30pm.
Dr Ruth Freeman, of Science Foundation Ireland, walks with Harry Everard who is the local rural recreation officer.
Ruth’s second walk starts in Graignamanagh and heads back towards Inistioge, finishing up in Woodstock Gardens. There she meets Coillte ecologist Dr Aileen O’Sullivan, before walking down into Inistioge.
