Local legend Stevie Mulrooney has recorded a classic hit and is also set to perform at a fundraising concert in Dublin next month.
The Kilkenny youngster has recently recorded a Whitney Houston song at the Production Suite studios in Dublin with the help of Grammy-nominated producers Graham Murphy, Chris O'Brien and musical Director, Paul Harrington.
The song is part of an album called "Out of Your Tree -The Record"  the brainchild of Dominic Lee who has raised over €80,000 for charity with photography books of the same name (Out of your Tree).
Out of Your Tree - The Record will take place on Saturday, November 8 at 6pm in St. Brigid's Church in Stilorgan in Dublin.
 
According to the event organisers it is a one of a kind charity concert and album launch where familiar faces from all walks of life will sing a favourite song.
Artists performing live include Ken Doherty, Olivia Tracey, Zena Donnelly, Stevie and many others.
Stevie is no stranger to the stage having performed live at the National Concert Hall as part of Phil Coulter's Legacy tour. He has also performed live at the RDS for the W6N and to 53,000 people at the Aviva Stadium.
The concert will coincide with the launch the CD & vinyl.  All proceeds will go to Our Lady's Hospice and Care Services.
