You may from time to time have come upon the Irish Wheelchair Association, whether it’s on your way to work, passing our accessible transport, in the car park at the back of Croke Park on All Ireland Hurling day in September or on a dark winters evening in November when we are out fundraising around the county for our National Angel Campaign. Have you ever stopped to think “What do they do and who supports them” Well the answer is simple….
The Irish Wheelchair Association is based at Claddagh Court, College Road, Kilkenny delivering quality services to the people of Kilkenny for almost 20 years.
Kilkenny is one of the largest IWA Resource and Outreach services in the country providing a range of services such as, Independent Living, Home Support Services, Holiday Service, Supported Living, Driving School, Information Services and a vast range of programmes delivered every day in our Resource and Outreach Service to the people of Kilkenny.
As we all know Community support is a huge and important support to IWA Kilkenny are we are delighted to team up with Johnstown Tractor Run for their annual event which takes place on Sunday the 25th of November 2018. The proceeds raised by the Johnstown Tractor Run will be shared with the Irish Wheelchair Association North Kilkenny Branch, Spokesports and Claddagh Court and will be used to maintain the excellent level of services currently being delivered in Kilkenny. We are thrilled to be involved in this fantastic community event and welcome this community integration opportunity for our members and their families.
We would like to thank our sponsors Kilkenny On Ice and all our local sponsors for spot prizes and gifts.
If you wish to support this worthwhile cause and help us to continue delivering quality, life-changing services to the people of Kilkenny please contact us at IWA Kilkenny Claddagh Court College Rd Kilkenny 056-7762775.
