Kilkenny event guide: What's on in the county this week?

This week's Kilkenny People has details of a wide range of events to look forward to.

Christmas craft fair at the CBS:
The CBS Kilkenny Secondary School Christmas Craft Fair will take place this Saturday at the school from 11am to 3pm.

Local bakers, makers, crafters and suppliers will attend. All proceeds go to the school’s basketball teams.

Ned Egan film in Brewery Lane:

Kilkenny man, Ned Egan will launch his DVD and CD in Brewery Lane on Sunday, December 16 at 8:15pm

Alzheimer Care Centre concert:

St. Fiacre’s Church Loughboy on Thursday at 8pm.

Performing will be Thukolo Gospel Choir and John Tully, Billy Carrigan and Friends, CBS Secondary School Choi and Andrew McGuinness.

George Candler is the MC. Admission is €10.

All proceeds towards the refurbishment of The Village Day Centre for persons with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.

Our Lady Rosary procession:

The Annual Candlelight Rosary Procession in honour of Our Lady which has been an event in the city for over forty years will take place on Saturday leaving The Parade Kilkenny at 8pm. All welcome to attend.

Prices coming to Watergate:

Sean and Conor Price play the Watergate, Kilkenny on Saturday, January 26.
