Kilkenny community teams up for clean-up

Thomastown

The Thomastown Tidy Towns group will team up with the scouts for a litter pick on Saturday, March 25.

All will meet at the quay car park at 10am for the litter pick, which finishes at 12 noon with refreshments which will be served at the community centre.

Participants will be assigned to locations around the town to litter pick.

Kilkenny County Council are delighted with the response as they are close to achieving their target of 200 participating groups which will see approximately 5,000 volunteers active across the Let’s Team Up to Clean Up Together for Kilkenny weekend.
