Our Lady of Lourdes National School in Slieverue have submitted a substantial planning application to Kilkenny County Council seeking to develop their school site.
A new 2250mm high boundary wall to part of the south boundary of the existing school is sought as well as a new vehicular and pedestrian entrance to the western boundary of the school.
New carparking facilities are planned to the west side (front) of the existing school and a new extended playground area is planned to the north side of the existing school.
Also sought are new security gates, fencing and all associated site works.
A decision is due by May 22, 2023.
