Major progress as tanks delivered to Kilkenny cheese plant

Construction continues a-pace on the multi-million euro project that will see up to 50,000 tonnes of cheese manufactured in South Kilkenny every year.

Glanbia Co-Op and Dutch firm Royal A-Ware  turned the first sod at the Belview Port site last July, with Tánaiste Leo Varadkar and Minister for Agriculture Charlie McConalogue on hand to help.

Massive tanks for the facility were recently delivered to the site, as documented by the Port of Waterford, on Twitter.
