Retailer in Kilkenny hits out over 'out of control' youngers

High Street, Kilkenny

A city centre retailer has raised serious concerns about the anti-social behaviour of a group of youngsters on High Street.

The local business owner said that the youngsters are ‘causing chaos’ in Kilkenny City centre.

Last Friday, the retailer witnessed gardaí taking bikes from the group: “While waiting for the garda van to come and collect the bikes the youngsters took back the bikes and cycled them away. Concerns over anti-social behaviour on High Street were raised recently at the Joint Policing Committee.
