A new Clara to Kilkenny Friday bus service has been launched.
This service, highly sought by the local community for many years, has been launched by TFI Local Link Carlow Kilkenny Wicklow.
Starting in Market Yard in Kilkenny at 10.20am, there will be pickups in areas such as Hurlers Cross, Clarabricken, Paddy’s Pub, Hegarty’s Garage and Cummins Cross.
All are welcome to travel on this service every Friday. Free Travel Pass holders welcome. Children under five years old are free. Adult fare is €2 single/€4 return. Young adult fares are €1/€2 return per trip.
The inward timetable is: Market Yard, 10.20am; Hurlers Cross, 10.30; Clarabricken, 10.35; Flagmount (Darcy Junction), 10.45; Paddy’s Pub, 10.50; Hegarty’s Garage, 10.52; Gowran Junction (direction for Kyle), 10.55; Connolly’s Pub, 11.05; Cummins Cross, 11.10; Ryan’s Cross, 11.15; Bog Road Cross, 11.17; Highrath Level Crossing, 11.20; Market Yard, 11.30am.
Outwards: Market Yard, 2.30pm; Hurlers Cross, 2.40; Clarabricken, 2.45; Flagmount (Darcy Junction), 2.55; Paddy’s Pub, 3pm; Hegarty’s Garage, 3.02; Gowran Junction (direction for Kyle), 3.05; Connolly’s Pub, 3.15; Cummins Cross, 3.20; Ryan’s Cross, 3.25; Bog Road Cross, 3.27; Highrath Level Crossing, 3.30; Market Yard, 3.40pm.
