A planning application has been lodged seeking to convert 175m2 of green area into a burial ground at St Bennett's Church, Bennettsbridge, County Kilkenny.
The plans are part of an effort to enable an extension to the existing graveyard.
Permission has also been sought for associated site improvement works, i.e. footpaths, planting and fencing.
A decision is expected by May 8, 2024.
