Former Kilkenny IFA Chairman, Jim Mulhall lands new position

Kilkenny dairy farmer, Jim Mulhall

Kilkenny dairy farmer, Jim Mulhall has been elected vice-chairman of the Irish agri-food education body Agri Aware, replacing fellow dairy-farmer Teddy Cashman from Co Cork in the role.

Mr Mulhall is well-known in the farming community locally, holding the role as chairman in the Kilkenny IFA for the past four years.

Reacting to the announcement, the local man said it's a 'great honour' to step into the role.
