The Rose candidates will appear on stage at the Ormonde Hotel to chat with MC, Ollie Turner from Galway Bay FM, who has a long affiliation with the Rose of Tralee International Festival.
Ollie is very experienced in interviewing the Roses and is looking forward to meeting all the Kilkenny Roses on the night.
Applicants have been meeting for the last number of weeks and have attended a varied series of events, from participating in bowling at KBOWL Kilkenny, wining and dining at Billy Byrne’s Gastro Bar and a fabulous Afternoon Tea, hosted by the Ormonde Hotel.
On Sunday night supporters could also be winners!
There will be prizes for Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Man and Best Banner, as well as a raffle with lots of nice prizes to be won.
The Roses have the pleasure of being paired with a ‘Rose Bud’ on the night, who are young local girls aged between five and 10 years old.
Lyn Moloney, Kilkenny Rose co-ordinator said that the Kilkenny Rose selection will be one of fun and entertainment will be a life changing experience on offer for one lucky Rose. Tickets for the event are available on the door on Easter Sunday evening. Doors open at 6.35pm and the show starts at 7.30pm sharp.
