Dancing with the Stars will be held on May 18 in Skeoughvosteen in aid of Danny's MS treatment.
Danny Byrne (32) from Paulstown was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis earlier this year and is hoping he can raise the necessary funds to take part in stem cell treatment in Moscow.
The Kilkenny man lost his brother Stephen to a brain tumour in 2003 and his father Danny Snr to lung cancer in 2018.
"At the moment everything is a struggle to do but I'll never give up trying. That's why I applied for the stem cell treatment in Moscow as this could and will give me my life back to some decent level," the local man commented.
