An under 15 ladies gaelic football team hopped on their bikes, at the weekend, to raise funds for their trip to a regional final.
The Dunnamaggin ladies gaelic football club won the Kilkenny County Féile Shield and have progressed to the 2024 John West Féile Peale an nÓg national division one finals, taking place in Galway on Saturday, June 29. In advance of the trip the ladies cycled the equivalent of the distance from Kilkenny to Galway, on static bikes located in Carroll’s Centra, Knocktopher. This was to raise funds to cover the trip.
