Nollaig Healy, STEM Public Engagement Co-ordinator, CALMAST at SETU, said: “People automatically think Science Week and the Kilkenny Science Festival is all about events in schools. Year on year, we’ve added more adult events which are not only great fun and free but also showcase just how important and relevant all things STEM are in our everyday lives.

“We’d encourage the public to engage with us, book their slot and join in the fun and the activities on offer throughout the coming days with the support of CALMAST in SETU as well as invaluable resources from Research Ireland.
