Revealed: Kilkenny take away closed by HSE for food safety concerns

A take away restaurant in Co Kilkenny has been shut down by the  Health Service Executive (HSE) for breaching food safety laws.

Information published today (Monday, December 9) by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) details that the HSE issued a closure order for Lam's Asian Cuisine & Eskimo Pizza, on Green Street in Callan. The order was issued on Thursday, December 5.

According to the FSAI the closure order was issued under the FSAI Act 1998. No information on when the order might be lifted is available at this time. Updates will be published: Click here.
