Business is open

A Kilkenny take away that was ordered to close, last week, because of food safety concerns has been given the green light to reopen.

According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI)  the HSE issued a closure order for Lam's Asian Cuisine & Eskimo Pizza, on Green Street in Callan, on Thursday, December 5.

According to the FSAI the closure order was issued under the FSAI Act 1998. No information on when the order might be lifted is available at this time. Updates will be published.

In an update to that order, the FSAI now reports that the business was given leave to reopen and the closure order was lifted on December 11, Wednesday last.
