There were bittersweet scenes in April as the last shop in a Kilkenny village shut its doors for the final time after almost 50 years in business.
Customers, neighbours and friends of the Wilson family from Clogh turned out to bid a final farewell to the village's shop, Wilson's, after 47 years in business.

Proprietor Tommy Wilson, son of the shop's founders Sheila and the late Timmy, said it was the "end of an era" as he locked the shop's door for the last time.
