DEATH - The death has taken place of Mr Timothy Drennan, formerly St Kieran’s Homes for the Elderly and the Islands, Urlingford. He had been ill for some time and his death caused much regret. He was a very quiet gentleman and his passing will be sadly missed. His remains were removed from Dole’s Funeral Home to Church of the Assumption and after Requiem Mass burial took place in the Mill Cemetery. Deeply regretted by his relations, close friends and neighbours.
FLOWerS - Urlingford Tidy Towns Committee were saddened on Sunday week last when they found that flowers were taken out of their pots and boxes and thrown recklessly around the street and on peoples premises throughout the town. Do these people responsible have flowers at home?
THANKS - The Fete Committee of Kilcooley would like to thank all those who supported their Old Style Country Fete last Sunday week in Kilcooley where a great day was enjoyed by those who attended. Many thanks again.
DEATH - The death has taken place in London of Mrs Mary Stephenson (nee Burke). She was daughter of the late Ger and Molly Burke, Urlingford, sister of Paddy Burke, St Josephs Terrace and sister of Margaret Ryan, Urlingford Road, Johnstown. Interment took place in London. Peace to her soul.

MILL FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE - Coming up for September: Introduction to Child Care/Health Care which will work into FETAC Level 5 Health Care Support. This is a part-time course consisting of two mornings a week from September 2012 to June 2013.
