“Every person is a human who needs to be listened to and supported. We are there to be people when they need us and to listen and to give advice where appropriate,” said Fr Carey.
Sr Margaret Mary and Fr Carey also help offer help and support to patients families and hospital staff.
Sr Margaret Mary, who is also a trained nurse has engaged in pastoral work for the past nine years. Fr Pat Carey is the full time chaplain at St Luke's Hospital for the past six years.
