Three new housing developments in Kilkenny have been officially opened today (Monday) by the Minister of State for Planning and Local Government., John Cummins TD.

Together, the three developments will provide 68 homes across social, affordable and specialist disability housing tenures, supported by an investment of more than €23 million from the Department of Housing.

To date, 41 homes have been delivered, with a further 27 currently under construction, across the three South Kilkenny projects.

Monday’s visit by the Minister included Abbeymount, Ferrybank; Church View, Kilmacow, and Moondharrig, Mooncoin, highlighting the significant level of housing delivery underway across the area.
