Almost 500 representatives of business in Kilkenny gathered for a glamourous evening, celebrating success at the Kilkenny Business Awards 2022.
The Chamber’s chosen charity for 2022 was the St Vincent De Paul, and a donation of €5,505 was collected on Saturday night. READ MORE BELOW
Cathal Smyth, Managing Director of State Street Kilkenny (main sponsor), said ‘State Street commend the Kilkenny Chamber for its continued leadership with Kilkenny businesses.
“The firm looks forward to continuing its strong presence in Kilkenny, through its state-of-the-art office building which is due for completion in 2023,” Mr Smyth said.
Among the 23 awards presented during the course of the evening, were the President’s Award, which went to Eamonn Langton, and the Lifetime Achievement Award, which went to Elizabeth Wall (Frank Wall’s Mans Shop). President of the Chamber Brian Keyes said it was a special privilege to be recognising the best of Kilkenny businesses.
“Winning aside, all shortlisted businesses should be proud of their tremendous achievements in getting through the rigorous judging process,” he said.
CEO John Hurley paid tribute to the sponsors, who make the awards possible, and thanked Purcell Masterson, Fastlane Audio Visual, Mycrofilms, A Digital Medial Hub and the Lyrath Estate Hotel, the Chamber’s partners in the presentation of the night.
