Grow Mental Health charity has opened its new office premises at Bridgewater House, 4 Dean Street, Kilkenny, R95 W022.

The new premises provide vital resources and support for people struggling with mental health challenges in our community and throughout the South-East.

The offices were officially opened on April 18 by former Governor of Mountjoy Prison John Lonergan, and other dignitaries, including Mayor of Kilkenny David FitzGerald, Sr Gertrude Howley pbvm, and Ruairi Powell, Grow Mental Health Manager.

The new Grow offices will provide various services, including weekly support group meetings and educational courses to the community.

According to Grow Mental Health, the charity behind the new premises, the need for mental health services has never been greater. The building will allow Grow to expand their reach and to help more people.

Grow’s mission is to empower people to nurture their well-being and the opening of this building is a significant step forward for the city of Kilkenny.

John Lonergan said he hoped the premises will serve as a beacon of hope for those struggling with mental health challenges, and encouraged people to seek support and to contact Grow.

“There’s no need to suffer alone or in silence,” Mr Lonergan said.
