Mayor of Kilkenny Joe Malone inspected the honour guard at James Stephens Military Barracks in Kilkenny recently, in one of his first public engagements since taking office.
He is serving his second term as mayor, having previously held the role in 2015/16.
Among the guests at the Kilkenny barracks was the Mayor Malone’s son, Lieutenant Jamie Malone, who is stationed in Cork.
