Santa arrived at MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre on Sunday via the Polar Express.
The crowd who gathered at the main entrance gave a loud cheer when the big man appeared with Mrs Claus, his mischievous elves from Nore Valley Park and all of his lucky Polar Express ticket winners.
It was a blissful time as Santa’s arrival came with a well-timed blizzard, giving the crowd a festive sprinkling of snow.
Once the cheers died down Santa, flanked by his elves and giant festive Christmas characters, made his way into the shopping centre.
Once on stage he addressed all of the children in the audience before welcoming his two Little Helpers Ryan and Nevaeh to kick off the confetti countdown. The children squealed with excitement as the air turned into a sea of bright colours as confetti fell, all accompanied by festive disco tunes and plenty of chat from Santa, who was enjoying every minute of his party.
