The Rehabilitation Training Unit from the Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) Kilkenny unveiled their exhibition entitled ‘Recollections…and Kilkenny Wall Art’ on Monday, November 27.

This exhibition is in association with Community Education Kilkenny and will run until December 6.

The work on display consists of individual pieces from students in the Unit, they have had a busy year organising their piece.

The Rehabilitation Training Unit had a ‘great time’ organising the exhibition and said they were lucky to have the support of Siobhan O’ Brien and Teresa Comerford in Community Education, Tutor Mairead Holohan and the staff in IWA Purcellsinch Kilkenny.

They made a special presentation on the day to the parents of a student who passed away in October, Jason Kavanagh, who they said was an integral part of the group and will be missed.
