Over 500 primary school children turned out at the Watershed last week to take part in the annual primary school volleyball blitz.
The volleyball blitz follows a coaching programme run by a group of Transition Year students from Presentation Secondary School, Kilkenny.
Volleyball is one of the most popular team sports at Presentation Kilkenny. It is a sport which teaches many fundamental life skills such as the ability to work in a team, to stay calm under pressure, to have the ability to concentrate for long periods, and to show leadership.
