A human rights activist will discuss on how people can build an apartheid and genocide-free Ireland in solidarity with the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom, justice and equality on Saturday (March 30) at 3pm at The Clubhouse Hotel.
Saleh Hijazi is the Apartheid-Free Policy Co-ordinator at the Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions National Committee (BNC), the leadership of the global nonviolent movement working to end complicity with and towards dismantling Israel's settler-colonialism, military occupation, and apartheid.
Before joining the BNC movement Saleh spent 11 years at Amnesty International. It is hosted by the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
