The Killers invited a young Kilkenny fan, Sean Heary, up to the stage on Thursday night during their show in Dublin to perform keys for ‘A Dustland Fairytale’.
Seán, a music student at UCC, had a homemade sign in his hands, asking if he could play one of their songs with them.
It said - "If you're not in, ya can't win". He was brought on to the stage, and after a quick chat with lead singer, Brandon Flowers he played piano with the US group and sang their hit solng.
"It's probably made my life to be honest" he said afterwards.
His mother Lucy Heary, who taught in St Canice's Co-Ed primary school said that it paid to Dream big!
Don't stop believing and here's proof, after posting a video of her son singing with the Killers on line.
She explained that Sean played piano since he was five years old (along with the violin, trumpet, guitar and harp) He is dedicated to his craft, hours spent practising, arranging and composing," she added.
