Anna May McHugh said she was "holding up very well" and probably most importantly "was delighted to see the sun shining brightly" for the second day of the Ploughing.
And this year the National Ploughing Association is celebrating 92 years in existence which Anna May said is a "long, long time" for any farm organisation.
The inclement weather had made it difficult for ploughing competitors on the first day, but Anna May said they were in great form on Tuesday morning, as the weather brightened up.
By 8.30 on Tuesday morning, there were already 10,000 people on site.
"We have great volunteers, and they were out very early this morning, I think they started around 5am," to carry out repairs on site to have everything ready for the second day.
They have moved on to plan C with grassland parking set to be in operation for the final day, with Anna May very optimistic that the Ploughing will end on a high.
