Over 50 people have been arrested as part of the ongoing garda Operation Thor.
Drugs with an estimated street value of €30,000 have been seized and a firearm has also been seized.
Checkpoints and searches are ongoing. Top police chiefs from all over Europe are in Kilkenny City to witness the operation - the eighth of its kind in the district.
