Owning Residential village-Would you like to live in a safe place with your main meal provided everyday, with heating, light and laundry needs catered for too; and all in a lovely scenic complex ?
If this sounds good, maybe you should make a call to Owning House residential village (formerly Sue Ryder Homes, St. John of God Convent, Owning). To find out more about availability and conditions of living in homes please contact Helen at 051-643136.
Owning House Residential Village is a local community run scheme which incorporates twenty (including six double) ‘independent living’ homes on the former convent grounds. The homes were affiliated to the Sue Ryder Foundation when first established over twenty years ago, but have always been independently managed and run by the local voluntary committee. Last year the decision was made to cease that affiliation, purchase the local facility and rename it in order to secure and better reflect the homes’ community status in the area.
