May he Rest in Peace
The death has taken place of Edward (Eddie) Russell, Dun Na Ri, Two Mile Borris on Thursday 22nd August, in his 84th year.
Originally from Crosspatrick, Co Kilkenny, Eddie had been living in Two Mile Borris for the last 25 years.
He ran a very successful shop and pub in Crosspatrick for 40 years and when he retired, Eddie worked in Stakelums Hardware in a number of different roles.
There was a large attendance at his removal from Doyle’s Funeral Home, Urlingford and funeral in Crosspatrick on Monday 26th August.
Eddie was very popular as evidenced by the numbers of sympathisers from his bridge partners, former work colleagues, neighbours, carers and many friends.
Eddie was predeceased by his wife Josephine (nee Moloney) and is deeply mourned by his immediate family, Lynn, Edward, Jan, Julia, Naveed, his granddaughters, Kate and Charlotte, extended family, great neighbours and wonderful friends and carers.
A great Kilkenny supporter all his life it was fitting that Eddie was buried in his beloved Crosspatrick where he lived and worked for many years.
May his soul rest in peace.
