An Garda Síochána is currently recruiting for a role that could fetch the successful applicant a starting salary of more than €133,000.
The role is that of a Data Protection Officer, a senior leadership position within An Garda Síochána, that is based in the Garda National Data Protection Office in Capel Street, Dublin 1.
The role oversees date protection, freedom of information and records management, helping the organisation meet its legal obligations and maintain public trust in how personal and sensitive information is managed.
Responsibilities include advising on data protection law, monitoring GDPR compliance, supporting data protection impact assessments, training staff, engaging with data subjects and acting as a contact point for the Date Protection Commissioner.
The salary scale would be between €108,152 and €133,775.
