An Garda Síochána continues to investigate what they believe is a multiple murder, following an arson attack that occurred on October 13.

A child who was injured in a suspected arson attack in Waterford in October has died in hospital.

An Garda Síochána confirmed on Friday that six-year-old Elliot English, who sustained critical injuries during the fire at his home on October 13, has died at Children’s Health Ireland Crumlin.

A spokesperson said: “The thoughts of all members of An Garda Síochána are with the extended English family at this sad time.”
