Avengers star Paul Rudd has been spotted in Ireland as filming for a new Irish-directed movie begins.
Staff and visitors were delighted to see the Hollywood actor - who played AntMan in the popular Marvel movies - stop by Killruddery House and Gardens in Bray, Co Wicklow.
According to Screen Ireland, filming for Rudd's new musical comedy 'Power Ballad' from director John Carney is underway in Ireland.
Carney - who is best known for his Oscar-winning film Once and Sing Street - wrote the comedy with Peter McDonald.
The film charts the story of a wedding singer (Rudd), a rock star (Nick Jonas), and the song that comes between them.
Jonas - who rocketed to fame as a member of the band The Jonas Brothers before his segue into acting - was recently spotted in Ireland prior to Rudd's arrival.
During publicity for his film Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Rudd called Ireland his "favourite place" to be in the world.
Speaking about the film, Carney said, "I'm delighted to be working with so many great people. I’ve been working on this script with my buddy Peter for years, and now Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas are in my kitchen."
