Creative fun at Kilkenny's Barnstorm Youth Theatre Camp this summer

Barnstorm Theatre Company will run its ever popular youth theatre camp this July.

Over the years thousands have passed through Barnstorm’s Youth Theatre and each year there is a demand for places that cannot be filled.

A few years ago, the company introduced the Youth Drama Camp to give local children the opportunity to experience theatre in a fun and safe environment for a week. The camp will also help participants develop their interpersonal skills.
This summer the Drama Camp for young people 8-14 years. Participants will develop confidence and interpersonal skills through drama, in an exciting environment.

Led by professional facilitators Rosey Hayes (Kilkenny Youth Theatre) and Jo Hennessy (Barnstorm Participation and Education Officer), the camp is a space for children to explore their creativity, open their imaginations and make new friends along the way!

The camp takes place from July 10 to 14 July in Barnstorm’s Studio on the second floor of the Home Rule Club on John’s Quay.
The groups will be divided by ages: 8 – 10 years (mornings) 10am – 1pm and 11 – 14 years (afternoons) 2pm – 5pm.
