Michelin magic for Kilkenny dining - two restaurants retain stars

Two Kilkenny restaurants retain Michelin Star status

High quality cooking continues to be a feature of the restaurant scene in Kilkenny with the announcement of the 2024 Michelin Stars.

For an impressive 11th year in a row The Lady Helen restaurant at Mount Juliet has retained its Michelin Star while, in the city, long-standing restaurant Campagne has also retained its Michelin Star.

The coveted culinary awards were announced on Monday night at a ceremony in Manchester, with Kilkenny-based chefs John Kelly from The Lady Helen and Garrett Byrne from Campagne in attendance.

“The team and I are lucky to have the freedom to create and develop, and we have shaped what we hope is a special dining experience that is in keeping with the distinctive Mount Juliet ethos,” said The Lady Helen chef John Kelly, celebrating the accolade.
