Team CluneTech at the 2024 National Fintech Awards
Kilkenny-headquartered software technology group, CluneTech, took home two awards at the National Fintech Awards, held in the Mansion House, Dublin, LAST Wednesday evening.
The inaugural National Fintech Awards were established to celebrate the exceptional achievements of the entire Irish Fintech industry, recognising those who have demonstrated exceptional innovation, leadership, and growth in this dynamic and constantly evolving sector.
Taxback International, a CluneTech company, was recognised as Fintech Company of the Year, an award which was won by another CluneTech company, TransferMate Global Payments, in 2023.

In addition, Joanna Murphy, CEO of Sprintax and Taxback, was awarded Fintech Pioneer of the Year honouring her significant contributions to the Irish fintech sector.

Ms Murphy is the Chief Executive Officer of Taxback and its US counterpart, Sprintax. The company specialises in tax technology, providing a suite of software solutions which simplify tax determination, withholding, tax return filing and reclaim for individuals and organisations globally. Joanna is responsible for leading the corporate direction and strategic vision for the group, driving business expansion, with the goal of delivering excellence in technology and service to a global customer base.
