Leading firm with Kilkenny office welcomes new directors as managing director steps down

Morgan Kilgallen is to step down as Managing Director of Kilgallen and Partners Consulting Engineers after 27 years of leadership.

A leading civil and structural engineering consultancy, the firm has offices in Portlaoise and Kilkenny. Kilgallen and Partners Consulting Engineers provides consulting engineering services to private and public sector clients for the design and management of building and civil engineering projects.

The company has extended its sincere thanks to Morgan for his ‘exceptional work’, and lasting impact. Morgan will continue to work in the practice as a consultant. As part of a planned succession, the existing leadership team of Paul Bergin and Niall O’Callaghan is joined by three newly appointed directors: Aidan Lawlor, Pete Cowman, and Robert Kelly. All three men have been promoted from their existing roles in the company.

This new leadership team reflects both continuity and renewal, positioning Kilgallen and Partners for continued success and growth into the future.

The company’s building projects range across the commercial, residential, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors.
It is currently involved in several local projects, such as the Bishop’s Lough housing development, the Coote’s Lane Active Travel Scheme and the Lacken Boardwalk.
