The local branch of An Garda Síochana has offered its congratulations Garda Diarmuid Leahy stationed in Kilkenny, on his recent success with the Garda College Hurling Team.
The Garda College Hurling team received a Team Award at the 2026 Coiste Siamsa Awards.
The Coiste Siamsa Awards recognise members of An Garda Síochána and garda staff, serving and retired, who have made an outstanding and significant contribution to sports and sports achievement.
"Fair play to Garda Diarmuid Leahy stationed in Kilkenny on his recent success with the Garda College Hurling Team," a garda spokesperson said.
