Kilkenny's perfume boutique, Valley of Roses, has opened the doors of a new flagship store on Rose Inn Street. The unveiling was marked by special guest, Cllr Andrew McGuinness and a party hosted by Beat Breakfast's Shonagh Lyons.
Following six months of renovation, Valley of Roses is relocating to larger premises, bringing a new lease of life to a prominent Kilkenny retail unit, which had been dormant until now.
The perfumery ventured just 50 metres from its popular Rose Inn Street location for more floor space and new possibilities.

Every wall, floor level, and alcove of the former Education Supply Store has been transformed with blush hues offset by aubergine and dark, earthy tones, pink onyx, and opulent gold accents.
Unrecognisable, the new space is flanked with curved shelving, gleaming counters, bold bespoke floral wallpaper, plush corduroy and velvet seating, custom flooring, and moody lighting created by Suzanna Freeman Designs.
Construction and outfitting were carried out by RFM Construction for the store makeover.
A wall-to-wall mirror dominates the back wall, accompanied by a neon light that spells out "You smell gorgeous" for the perfect selfie moment!
"We're so excited, after months of planning and lots of hard work, to finally open the doors of our new flagship store. We built this store together with our amazing team and customers over the last 10 years. Today, we're overwhelmed by how many people have dropped by to support us," Tsankova told us.
"It's a dream come true, and we're excited about what's coming next."
Giving up a tenured career in Bulgaria, the tenacious businesswoman relocated to Ireland in 2014 and has built a successful retail brand, amassing an impressive online following and a 400-strong 'inspired by' range of Eau de Parfum, skincare, and bespoke fragrances. Andriana is asking people to mark their diaries for the weekend of July 18 for the grand opening, "We're looking forward to seeing our customers come through the doors of our gorgeous new store, and we hope everyone comes to the Customer Appreciation Weekend for goodie bags, discounts, brand new collections, live music, spot prizes and lots of treats instore," she added.
