Kilkenny business closes its doors as they thank public for their understanding

The Caffé 500 restaurant has confirmed it will be closed for a 'few days' due to a bereavement.

The popular restaurant, located at 1 High Street in Kilkenny City has gone down a storm with food lovers since opening in April 2024.

Caffè 500 serves authentic Italian cuisine including pizza and pasta dishes along with a range of desserts available at its local premises as well in its Carlow Town outlet.

"We will be closed for a few days due to mourning," the business posted online.

"We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

"Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. Please stay tuned to our page for updates on the reopening date," they concluded.
