Funding for Kilkenny crossroads after 'years' of appeals

After years of seeking funding for safety improvements at a rural junction in Kilkenny, Cllr Joe Lyons has welcomed the announcement of €27,000 for Ballyhall Cross.

The junction, at the end of the New Line, was included in the recent announcement of funding for local and regional roads.

Cllr Lyons has also welcomed a number of other road projects that have been included in the funding allocations: €6,000 towards lighting at Sevenhouses and €5,000 for works around Victoria Bridge in Ahenny.

Under Climate Change Adaptation Works funding €20,000 has been allocated to Ballycloven Bridge, €20,000 has also been awarded for works in Hugginstown and €30,000 for Kyle Road in Kilmoganny
