Kilkenny students share heartwarming moment with nursing home residents

Aisling, a student from Coláiste Abhainn Rí, and her neighbour Eileen Millea, a resident of Mount Carmel, had a heartwarming encounter today. In a gesture of community solidarity, Aisling, accompanied by fellow students, donated cakes from the school's Bake Sale to the residents of Mount Carmel.

The Bake Sale at Coláiste Abhainn Rí was organized to support Sophie Quirke, who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. Sophie is the daughter of Martina Griffin, a staff member at the school. Upon receiving the donations, Eileen Millea expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the Mount Carmel community.
