Power could be out in Callan until 8pm

Power has been restored in the Callan area.

ESB Networks are dealing with a major fault in the Callan area this evening (Monday) with more than 2000 customers affected.
According to ESB Networks a fault has caused a loss of power to 2,244 customers in Callan. The fault began at 4.22pm this afternoon.
It is estimated that power will be restored by 8pm tonight.
ESB Networks have said: "We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting (your) premises and will restore power as quickly as possible."
