Well done to the members of Loreto Interact Club who have collected hundreds of toys to distribute in Kilkenny this Christmas.

The Interact Club, affiliated with Kilkenny Rotary Club, decided they wanted to collect toys to support the KCLR toy drive this year as one of their projects. Toys will be donated to St Luke’s Paediatric Ward, Amber Women’s Refuge, the Fr McGrath Centre and the Newpark Resource Centre.

The girls formed a committee to promote their project. They collected toys in school and held a bake sale to raise money to buy new toys also. The girls collected 299 toys in total.
John Keane collected the toys on Wednesday 14th and was very impressed with the girls collection.
There are more than 50 members in Loreto’s Interact club with students from 1st to 5th Year involved.
