The club sent 12 boxers and brought home five gold, four silver and three bronze medals
Congratulations to the strong team of 12 Paulstown boxers and management who travelled to the Portimão Box Cup in Portugal recently and took home five gold, four silver and three bronze medals.
In a statement, the club said: "Now that the dust has settled on what was a very successful weekend for Paulstown Boxing Club, we would like to say a huge well done to the strong team of 12 boxers that travelled to the Portimão Box Cup over the weekend.

"Paulstown Boxing Club brought back a full card of medals with bronze medals for Sean Hamilton, Michael Corr and Mikey Stokes, silver medals for Annalise O’Reilly, Harry Nolan, Johnny McNamara and Zach O’Hara and gold medals for Claire Keating, Emma Keating, Lucy Doyle, Mary Harty and Grace Fenlon.
"Each and every boxer did the club extremely proud giving their all in what was an international debut for most. This was a great opportunity for our boxers to travel abroad and box on an international stage and they really took the opportunity with both hands and did themselves and the club proud both in and out of the ring throughout the trip.

"This hugely successful trip rounds up what was a fantastic season for the club, producing seven Leinster champions and three national champions.
"All of the coaches would like to express how proud they are of each and every boxers' huge effort this year and we look forward to working with this group of boxers, all of our 2024/2025 members, and new boxers/members coming through the ranks next season!
