Searches are continuing on lands in the Wicklow/Kildare border for missing Kilkenny woman, Jo Jo Dullard as part of an ongoing murder investigation.
“It is hoped that these searches will reveal evidence as to what happened to Jo Jo on the night of November 9, 1995,” Superintendent Paul Burke of Kildare Garda Station.
"An Garda Síochana continue to keep the family of Jo Jo fully updated in relation to this investigation.
"Jo Jo's family have now suffered for 29 years from her disappearance and murder. They continue to suffer not knowing where Jo Jo's remains are
"An Garda Síochana is resolute in their determination to provide answers for her family.
"We want to bring Jo Jo home to her family.
"There are person or persons out there who know what happened to Jo Jo on November 9, 1995.
"Now is the time for those persons to come forward and to speak to An Garda Síochana," he added.
Jo Jo Dullard was last known to be alive on November 9, 1995 at a telephone box in the village of Moone. That evening she was travelling from Dublin to Callan and had hitch hiked a lift from Naas to the slip road at the M9 motorway at Kilcullen and from there to Moone.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with any information, no matter how small or insignificant you might believe it to be, to contact Naas Garda Station on 045-884300 or any Garda station or the Garda Confidential Line.
